For the kids and families in Newtown, Ct

The people of Newtown are in my thoughts. 

A few things I've been thinking about and articles related to them:  

• Gun control - What is the right to bear arms? And is it really a free society if it means innocent people can be killed this way? 
• Mental Illness - What should be done to avoid the stigma and help people with mental illnesses, so they do not feel the need to resort to violence. The article discusses this note from the mother of a child with a mental illness much like Adam Lanza's.
• We are the people of Newtown because we are one nation. My friend was raised there. It's a small world. Any city in America could face such devastation.
